4 Ways to Tell You’re Wearing the Wrong Bra Size

Once again, it all comes down to finding the right fit for your shape and size.

We’re here to help.

You could have on the most meticulously made, high-end bra, but if the fit isn’t right, it’s pretty much useless. Below, we are sharing four ways to identify if you’re wearing the wrong size bra for your shape and size immediately.

YOUR BAND RIDES UP

Every woman knows that feeling—when she bends over low or stretches up high and her bra band moves with her. It’s also a sure-fire way to know you’re wearing the absolute wrong size. While it’s possible that you have your bra on the wrong hook, it’s more likely that you have the entirely wrong size bra on. Take this as a sign that it’s time for another fitting.

YOUR CUPS RUNNETH OVER (OR UNDER)

Finding the right cup size is half the battle. Bodies change with age, weight fluctuations, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. If your breasts are spilling over the tops of your cups, it might be worth considering a larger cup. If your breasts are not filling the cups properly causing gapping, a smaller cup is your best bet.

YOUR UNDERWIRE DIGS OR POKES

If you choose to wear a bra with an underwire, you’ll quickly find it has an indiscreet way of letting you know if your size isn’t right. We are, of course, referring to the dreaded chafing, pinching, or even cutting that can occur. If an underwire bra fits you correctly, there is no reason it should be uncomfortable.

YOUR STRAPS SLIP

You might have this problem, which involves your bra straps sliding around or slipping off your shoulders. This can happen if your straps are not properly adjusted, if your shoulders slope, or if you simply have the wrong size on. Not to worry, we have you covered.
